SERVICE POSITIONS

In Alcoholics Anonymous, service is one of the cornerstones of our recovery. By showing up for our group and for one another, we practice the principles of humility, responsibility, and unity. Service not only helps us stay sober, but it also ensures that the hand of AA is always there for the next person seeking help.

At Bit by Bit, we believe that service is both a privilege and a spiritual practice. Whether it’s greeting someone at the door, handing out chips, or representing the group in the larger fellowship of AA, each role plays a vital part in keeping our meeting welcoming, organized, and grounded in the Twelve Traditions.

No matter your length of sobriety, there is a way to contribute. Some positions require a longer commitment or sobriety, while others are open to anyone willing to serve.

“We are responsible for the effort, God is responsible for the outcome.”
